Wow! We are so grateful for all you joined us for the 1st installment of the NEW Logan City Marathon. We indeed celebrated the beauty of Cache Valley and Downtown Logan by running through the Historic Center Street District, along the Logan River Trail and Logan River Golf Course, on wide-open country roads and through scenic wetland areas, and all in the shadow of the beautiful Cache National Forest and Wellsville Mountain Range. The weather was absolutely perfect the entire day. The Camp Chef Fire Tables were sponsored by the Urban Trail Racing Series, first aid was provided by Logan Regional Hospital, and hospitality was provided by Altra Running.

We are making plans for 2020. Stay tuned for race date announcement.
In 2020, we will be adding an exciting Downtown Logan start and finish on Historic Center Street! In 2020, runners will gather, start and finish on a newly remodeled city block on Historic Center Street in Downtown Logan. For 2020 events, Logan City will completely closing down the city block from 100 West to Main Street, so you can safely arrive, run, mingle and eat afterwards, and return to your cars parked closely by in safety. Our urban city route provides an open path through the west-side of the Logan and Cache Valley, with a course grade at or near 0. All runners start and finish on a strait-forward 6-block stretch down Historic Center Street, and complete their race on the newly remodeled city block in downtown Logan.
For this event, you won't have to get up at 4:30 am to catch a bus, nor bundle-up like a mummy, so get some more sleep and join us as the dawn breaks and the sun crests the Cone of the Wellsville Range (~7am). While we are going to throw a lot of new cool stuff at you, we'll provide the necessities like frequent hydro stations, big and bold finisher metals, photos on the course and finish line, as well as accurate timing and instant race results. And as in 2019, all registered runners will receive a brunch courtesy of Historic Center Street restaurants, featuring a wide-selection of baked goods, waffles, pancakes, crepes, eggs, drinks and other items to refuel after the race. We will bring back the Altra Runner’s Festival again hosted by our race partner, Altra Running!
