Spring Evensong Concert

Join us for a special Spring Evensong concert, Sound of Ages: Invitation to Love, at St John's Episcopal Church in Historic Downtown Logan on Saturday, April 12, 2025, 7:30pm. The theme of the 2025 Spring Evensong, presented by Logan Downtown Alliance, is: Invitation to Love. We'll contemplate different facets of the virtue of love, as C.S. Lewis did in his book The Four Loves, and revel in music by John Tavener, David Briggs, Orlando di Lasso, and others.

Sound of Ages performs quarterly Evensong concerts, loosely patterned after choral Evensong in the Anglican/Episcopal tradition or Vespers in the Catholic tradition. To create an experience of musical meditation and personal renewal, these "Evensong" concerts mix elegant, contemplative choral music from across centuries with inspiring, often humorous, nondenominational spoken-word narrations.
