RACE INFORMATION
The Cytiva Top of Utah Marathon in Logan Utah is one of the Beehive State’s oldest and continuous running marathons, celebrating its 27th Year! The Cytiva Top of Utah Marathon doesn't require participants to be transported to a distant starting line by bus at 3:30am; rather it allows runners to arrive and park near the start/finish line on or before 7:00am in Historic Downtown Logan.

Cytiva is excited to sponsor a special raffle for all race participants! Every runner will receive a bib tear-off raffle ticket at runner check-in on Friday. To enter, simply drop your ticket in the raffle box during runner check-in at Race Headquarters, Sol Speak Yoga, on Friday or at race-day runner check-in on Saturday before 7:00 AM at KW Unite, 33 North Main Street.
Winning numbers will be randomly selected and posted at 8:30am at the Cytiva Runners Festival on Center Street—so be sure to stop by and check after you finish your race. You might be one of our lucky winners!
The Family Place 5K at the Cytiva Top of Utah Marathon
For every 5K registration, $12.50 is donated to The Family Place by the Logan Downtown Alliance. This year, Cytiva is going even further by contributing an additional $10 per 5K entry, bringing even more support to families in our community.

UTAH'S MARATHON CHAMPIONSHIP RACE 2025
The Cytiva Top of Utah Marathon is the USA Track & Field Utah Marathon Championship Race for 2025. With $5200 in prize money to the Top 3 Open male and female and Top 3 Masters (40 and over) male and female.
RACE HEADQUARTERS: Sol Speak Yoga, 60 West 100 North, Logan. Open on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 12pm to 6pm. Runner Check-in on Race Day will be at KW Unite, 33 North Main Street, from 6am to 8am.
PACKET PICK-UP: Runners may arrive at Sol Speak Yoga on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 12pm to 6pm. Runners will be treated to pre-race goodies and premiums complimentary of our race sponsors. Runners who need to arrive Saturday, September 20, can collect their packet inside KW Unite, 33 North Main Street from 6am to 8am. Every runner packet will include BIB number with timing chip, pins, and official race shirt.
RUNNER CHECK-IN: All bib numbers must be picked up at the following times and locations: Friday, September 19, 12pm to 6pm at Sol Speak Yoga, 60 West 100 North, Logan or Saturday, September 20, 6am to 8am, at KW Unite, 33 North Main Street.
BIB NUMBERS: Timing of the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K will be done by Runnercard Mobile App. The Runnercard timing system uses a RFID tag that stays mounted on the runners bib, requiring no additional application by the athlete. Runner Bibs must be pinned to runners outer clothing, landscape oriented, and visible on the front to receive an official finishing position/ time. Bib numbers are NON-transferable.
RULES OF COMPETITION: The Cytiva Top of Utah Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K are conducted under USATF rules and regulations. Please, no personal support vehicles on the course. Runners accepting aid from personal support may be disqualified. Only authorized bicycle users are not allowed on the course. And non-registered participant pacing is prohibited and may result in disqualification.
START TIMES: Marathon will start at 7:10am, Half Marathon will start at 7:30am, 10K will start at 7:50am, and 5K will start at 8:10am MST. At 5 minutes to the start of each race, runners will begin to queue in the running chute.
TIMING: Gun Start regular timing will be used. All awards will be determined by using RFID tag time.
AGE CATEGORIES: We have 18 age categories.
MARATHON AID STATIONS: We provide runners 18 aid stations in addition to the aid at the start and finish. Pure Culligan Water will be available at all 18 aid stations. At 7 aid stations (miles 3, 8, 12, 17, 23, 24) in addition to Culligan Water, we will have Honey Stinger Energy Gel (24g carb) non-caffeine, GU (21g carb with 20mg caffeine), Gatorade (36g carb), fresh bananas, Blue Steel Anti-Chafe Cream, Vaseline, first aid kits, hand sanitizer, wet-ones, facial tissue, paper towels, women hygiene products, and portable restrooms.
HALF MARATHON AID STATIONS: We provide 9 aid stations and at mile 3, 9, and 11 we provide full array of hydration, nutrition, and support items.
10K and 5K AID STATIONS: We provide 3 aid stations to 10K runners and 1 aid station to 5K runners.
GEAR STORAGE: We provide a gear storage on Race Day at the Gear Drop Tent adjacent to the Awards Stage on Center Street from 6:30am to 1:30pm. We will provide you a gear tag for your items.
MARATHON CLOTHING DROP: We provide a clothing drop at mile 3, 8, 12, 17 and 22. Clothing will be returned to the Gear Drop Tent adjacent to the Awards Stage on Center Street at 11am. Clothing can be mailed upon request for a fee ($15.00) up to 1 week after the race.
HALF MARATHON CLOTHING DROP: We provide a clothing drop at mile 3 and 9. Clothing will be returned to the Gear Drop Tent adjacent to the Awards Stage on Center Street at 10:30am. Clothing can be mailed upon request for a fee ($15.00) up to 1 week after the race.
CUT OFF TIME: We will provide a 6-hour 20 minute time limit for the marathon (1:30pm MST). Please exercise care in your participation. Our Clean-Up Team will follow the last marathon runner and ensure support is provided to runners finishing on or before 1:30pm.
RACE RESULTS: Individual results will be available immediately at the finish line for those who registered to receive text message results. You may collect your printed race results card at the Race Results Tent near the finish line until 1:30pm
RACE MEDALS: All runners will receive a 2025 FINISHERS Medal at the finish.
OPEN AWARDS CEREMONY: We will award the overall winners of the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon. If you are a Top 3 male and female we recognize you on the Award Stage. The awards for the 5K will be at 9:10am and the awards for the 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon will be at 10:30am.
MASTERS AWARDS CEREMONY: We will award the Top 3 Masters (40 and over) male and female of the Marathon at 10:30am. If you are a Top 3 Masters male and female we recognize you on the Award Stage.
AGE CATEGORY WINNERS: If you finished 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in your age category, you are invited to receive an Age Category Ribbon Sleeve for your race medal ribbon, at the Award Stage after the completion of the marathon awards at 11:30am and will end at 1:30pm.
SPECTATORS: There are plenty of viewing areas for all races except along 600 South between 1900 West and 5400 West.
PARKING: Plenty of free parking near the Start/Finish Line.
RESTROOMS: We will have portable restrooms at the Start/Finish line and at three other locations on the marathon, half marathon and 10K courses.
SECURITY: Logan City Police Department and Cache County Sheriffs Office have reviewed the event with staff to ensure the highest levels of safety and security. Our objectives are to protect our participating runners, to ensure the safety of our volunteers, to protect each spectator/friends and family members of our participants and to protect and inform the members of our community. Runners, please be aware that there will be mild local area commuters on several roadways, but the east and west bound traffic between 3200 West and 5400 West on the 600 South roadway will be closed and Cache County Sheriff Deputies will monitor vehicular use of this roadway by non-authorized vehicles.
