The Road Respect Bike Rodeo, sponsored by Logan Rotary, is an event for children ages 5 to10 and parents to help them learn safe bicycle riding. The Logan City Police is partnering with Utah Department of Public Safety and the Utah Department of Transportation Zero Fatalities program to help children be safe while riding their bicycles this summer.
This event is FREE and the first 100 children to register can receive a FREE bike helmet.
This event will help children to learn how to be safe while bicycle riding. A bicycle is not required. Children and parents will learn how to:
Inspect Helmets - for the correct size and fit
Inspect Bicycles - for A B C (air in tires, adjusted brakes, and operating chain)
Riding Course - learn to safely start and stop, balance, zig-zag, figure 8
Road Signs - learn how to ride on streets and share the road with motor vehicles
